land rover toys kids
If you thought that kids went wild for power wheels toys, then you probably have not seen kids going bonkers over the new SUV style riding toys that have been appearing on the market recently. With Land Rover toys kids simply cannot seem to get enough. It might be that kids revel in the idea of playing with a toy that emulates the slick SUVs driven by their parents and celebrities on television.

Horse Toys for Kids Have Always Been Popular

horse toys for kids
Kids love animals. In fact, most kids love anything that has to do with animals. Zoos, stuffed animals, and toys made the likeness of various animals are immensely popular with small children. It comes as no surprise, then, that a reader emailed me asking for a post on horse toys for kids.

Throughout the history of toys, there have been toys made in the image of horses for children. This may be because for a long period of human history, horses were a primary means of transportation and were also used as draft animals, making them an integral part of our survival. Wooden rocking horses have been popular for centuries and the old horse on a stick has been around for ages. More recently, kids have been playing with miniature horse replicas such as My Little Pony dolls and plastic horse dolls.

Rich Kids Toys Don't Have to Be Expensive

rich kids toys
For many anxious toy buyers, buying toys for children form affluent backgrounds can be especially an especially stressful proposition. While it is easy to assume that for rich kids toys that will be appreciated the most will have the highest price tag, there is little truth to that assumption.

I recently had to buy a present for one of my daughters classmates who comes from an extremely wealthy family, and we went to the toy store and raided the $5 toy bin and came out with 5 real gems. Included in this assortment of toys was a water balloon launcher and a few packages of water balloons. My daughter and I filled them up and put them in buckets prior to leaving for the party, and our present was the big hit of the day with all the kids.

Ideas for Cool Kids Toys

cool kids toys
As parents, we always want to find the most intellectually stimulating and fun toys for our kids, but sometimes we want to find the coolest toys so that we can enjoy them as well. After careful consideration, I would like to list my favorite cool kids toys for my readers here at KidsToys365.

#1 – Laser Tag: A good laser tag set can occupy you and your kids for hours hunting each other across the back yard and encourages active outdoor play.

#2 – Frisbee: There is no substitute for the fun to be had flinging a Frisbee around the park with your kids, especially after a few outings and your skills have improved to the point that strangers stop to watch you and you kids throw it around effortlessly.

#3 – Nintendo Wii. I think this toy is inherently cool. If you have not had the opportunity to try one, I recommend you do as soon as possible.

Ideas for Toys for Gifted Kids

toys for gifted kids
Shopping for truly special children is much harder than you might think. While there are many toys for gifted kids on the market, deciding which is the right one for the recipient of your present can be a tricky proposition.

Many extremely precocious children enjoy books on a variety of subjects, and this might be a good alternative to toys. Another idea is to choose a strategy game of some sort, such as Chess or Risk. These games encourage critical thinking and competition which will help your gifted children learn valuable skills that he or she can use in the real world. Another good idea would be to buy creative toys such as an erector set or legos which allow the child to create whatever toy he or she can imagine!
