When I was a little girl I loved my toy stove that I had in my room. Of course there was no heat but I had enough imagination to create a dinner, a desert and tea time for me and my audience dolls. Kids furniture toys like toy stoves are a great way for a child to learn what goes into making their own meals when necessary and how to operate in a kitchen. Eventually our kids are going to have to be independent. Besides, it never hurts for your child to be able to make themselves a snack in the kitchen while you are in the bathtub or in the shower or simply indisposed. Of course their snack would not be involving heat!
